This page lists every cookie and tracking tool on caelana.com, what each one does, and how to turn them off.
The short version
We use three things: one that keeps the site working, one that counts visitors, and one that measures whether our advertising works.
Only the first loads before you choose. The other two stay off until you click Accept.
What a cookie is
A small file a website stores in your browser. Some remember a setting, like your language or your cookie choice. Others record that you visited, so a service can count you or recognise you later.
We also use a server-side tool that does not set a cookie at all — it is listed below because it does the same job.
Necessary — always on
These make the site function. They cannot be switched off and store nothing that identifies you.

Analytics — off until you accept
Google Analytics 4. Tells us which pages people arrive on, how long they stay, and where they came from. We use it to decide what to write more of.

We have IP anonymisation on. We do not use Google Analytics to identify you personally, and we do not link it to any information you give us in a form.
If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded at all. The script is never fetched, no request reaches Google, and neither cookie above is ever set. The same is true if you simply ignore the banner — nothing loads until you choose Accept.
Advertising — off until you accept
Meta Pixel and Conversions API. Tells us whether someone who clicked one of our Facebook or Instagram ads went on to contact us. Also allows Meta to show you our ads elsewhere.

The Conversions API sends the same information from our server rather than your browser. It is gated on the same consent. If you decline, neither the pixel nor the server-side tool sends anything.
If you accept, Meta may combine this with information it already holds about you. Meta's own privacy policy covers what it does then.
What we do not use
- No advertising networks other than Meta
- No data brokers
- No session recording or heatmap tools
- No cross-site tracking beyond what is listed above
- No cookies that read information from other sites you visit
How to change your mind
On our site. Use the button below. Your new choice takes effect immediately, and anything previously loaded stops on your next page view.
In your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking necessary cookies means the site will ask about cookies on every visit, because it cannot remember your answer.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser or an extension sends this signal, we treat it as a decline for advertising and do not load the Meta Pixel or Conversions API. You do not need to do anything else.

If you decline
Everything on the site works. Every page loads, the contact form sends, and the pricing calculator works exactly the same.
The only difference is that we do not know you were here.
Changes
If we add a tracking tool, we will update this page and reset the consent banner so you can choose again. We will not add anything quietly.
