Questions
Why is it cheaper than agencies?
Because there is no account layer to pay for. You deal with the person writing the code, so the price covers the build rather than the people scheduling it.
What about the $97 a month website builders?
You’re renting. Stop paying and the site disappears — you can’t export it, you can’t move it, there’s nothing to take with you. Three years of paying and you own exactly nothing.
Your customer data sits on their servers too. So does your traffic history.
And when you need the site to do something the template doesn’t do, the answer is no. Not “that costs extra” — no.
Custom code: you get the repository. Host it anywhere. Hire anyone to work on it. It’s yours the day you pay for it.
If you just need a landing page and you’re fine renting it, use them. They’re cheaper and they work.
What’s the care plan for?
Hosting, updates, backups and small changes. It’s optional — the site runs fine without it and you can host it yourself.
Which tier do I need?
Starter covers a marketing site up to five pages. Standard adds more pages, a CMS you can edit yourself, and integrations. Anything with e-commerce, user accounts or a database is quoted — those are builds, not pages.
How long does it take?
Two to four weeks for a typical marketing site, depending on how fast copy and images come back to me.
Do you write the copy?
