Email flows

The emails that send themselves.

Built once, then they run — welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back.

A campaign email needs somebody to write it every week. A flow does not: it triggers on what a customer just did and keeps working whether or not anyone is at a desk. Most stores have a list, no flows, and a quiet suspicion that email does not work for them.

Setup from $1,200, first flows live in about two weeks.

Built in your account. The flows stay there if we stop working together.

The flows that get built

Welcome

What arrives in the first ten minutes after somebody signs up, when they are more interested in you than they will be again for months. Usually the highest-earning flow on the account and the one most often missing.

Abandoned cart and abandoned browse

Cart is the obvious one. Browse — somebody looked at a product three times and left — is the one most stores never build, and it reaches people who never got as far as a cart.

Post-purchase and win-back

What to say after the box arrives so the second order is easier than the first, and what to send somebody who bought once eight months ago and has gone quiet.

The capture that feeds them

A flow with nobody in it does nothing, so the sign-up points get built too: the form on the site, the timing of the pop-up, and where the address gets asked for during checkout.

Pricing

As a program matures, email tends to reach 15–25% of revenue. Higher figures come from mature programs with generous attribution, and repeating them here would set you up to be disappointed.

Questions

How much of my revenue should email produce?

As a program matures, email tends to reach 15 to 25% of revenue.

You will see 30% and 40% quoted. Those figures come from mature programs with generous attribution windows, and repeating them here would be setting you up to feel cheated at month four. Fifteen to twenty-five is the number I will hold myself to.

Which platform do you build on?

Whichever one you already pay for, in most cases. Klaviyo, Shopify Email, Mailchimp and Brevo all do this well enough that switching is rarely worth the disruption. If your platform genuinely cannot do flows I will say so, and that is a different conversation.

What does the monthly cover?

$300–$750 a month covers watching what the flows are doing, rewriting the ones that fade, adding seasonal branches, and a report you can read in a minute. It is optional. The flows run without it.

Do you write them in Spanish too?

Yes, at no extra cost, and written natively rather than translated after the fact. You pick the split — everyone gets both, or the language gets chosen by what the customer used when they signed up.

Which of these do you already have?

Tell me your platform and which flows exist. If you already have a welcome flow and it earns, I will say so and quote only what is missing rather than rebuilding what works.
