Shopify migration

Your store, moved to Shopify with its data and URLs.

Products, customers and order history moved from your current platform to Shopify, with every old URL redirected and the SEO carried across.

Replatforming goes wrong in the dull parts: variants that arrive as separate products, customer records that do not make it, order history left behind, and old product URLs returning errors the day the new store goes live.

From $2,000, quoted inside the range by the size of the catalogue and what is moving.

Redirects and SEO checks are part of the process. Every old URL is mapped before launch, and the data is checked against the old store before you switch.

What gets moved

Products, properly

Products moved with variants, options, images, descriptions, prices and identifiers intact — checked against the old store, not assumed.

Customers and order history

Customer records and past orders moved across where your old platform exports them, so returning customers are not strangers and your history is not lost.

Every URL redirected

Old product, collection and page URLs mapped to their Shopify equivalents with permanent redirects, so search results and links still land.

SEO carried over

Titles, meta descriptions and image alt text carried across, the sitemap submitted, and the new store crawled after launch to catch what did not make it.

Pricing

Questions

Will my rankings stay the same?

I cannot promise that, and nobody honestly can. What the process does is remove the avoidable causes of loss: every URL redirected, the SEO fields carried over, the sitemap submitted and the store crawled after launch. Some movement after a migration is normal while search engines reprocess the site.

Which platforms can you move from?

Most platforms that can export products, customers and orders — WooCommerce, other hosted platforms and custom-built stores among them. What moves, and what cannot, depends on what the old platform exports, and that is checked before the quote.

When should I not buy this?

If your current platform works and the reason to move is one feature, check first whether an app or a change on the current platform gets you there — a migration is a big project for a small problem. And if a redesign is coming, plan the two together rather than paying to move a store you are about to change.

Is Shopify’s subscription included?

No. Shopify’s plan and any paid apps are billed to you by Shopify, separately from my price.

Which platform are you on now?

Tell me which, and roughly how many products and customers. That is enough for me to tell you where in the range you will land.
