Retail Foundation

Fix the foundation before you buy traffic.

An audit, then the fixes, then someone keeping it working.

Every retailer I have audited this quarter had the same three or four things broken: tracking that stopped reporting years ago, product pages with one photo and an empty specs table, a catalogue nobody has reorganised since launch, and old URLs answering 404. Buy ads or content on top of that and you cannot tell whether any of it worked — which is why people cancel in month three and blame the channel.

Starts with a $300 Health Check, credited toward the fix.

The report is yours whether or not you hire me for the fix.

Report yours to keep · $300 credited toward the fix · You own every account and everything produced

What you actually get

Step 1 — Storefront Health Check, $300

We go through your site the way a customer and a search engine would. We check whether your analytics and tracking are actually working, look at your product pages, your catalogue structure, and your Google listing. You get a written report of what's broken and what to fix first, plus a 30-minute call to walk through it. It's yours whether or not you hire us, and the $300 comes off the fix if you do.

Step 2 — Retail Foundation fix, from $1,500

We fix what the Health Check found. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and the Meta pixel installed and verified. Product structured data so search engines can read your prices, stock and ratings. Your catalogue organised into real categories. Dead links redirected. Review collection set up. Google Business Profile set up for each location. Social accounts created and linked from your site. This one needs temporary admin access to your website, Google and Meta — you keep ownership of everything.

Step 3 — Foundation Care, from $300/month

Things break. Products get added without structured data, themes update and break tracking, URLs change. Each month we check the tracking is still firing, add structured data to new products, fix new dead links, post to your Google listing, and send you a one-page report. Three-month minimum, cancel any time after that.

Questions

What do I get for the $300?

A written report on tracking, product data, catalogue structure and local presence; a 90-day priority list in the order I would fix things; and a 30-minute walkthrough.

It is yours to keep, and yours to hand to somebody else if you would rather they did the work. If you do hire me for the fix, the $300 comes off it.

Why is the fix a range instead of a price?

Because the audit decides it. One location on a clean theme is the bottom of the range; four locations, a broken redirect history and two thousand unsorted products is the top. Quoting before looking would mean padding it, and I would rather show you the report first.

Single location runs $1,500–$3,500. Multi-location starts at $4,000, plus $500 for each location past the first set.

Do I have to give you admin access?

For the fix, yes. Tracking cannot be installed or verified from the outside, and a pixel nobody has confirmed is firing is the problem you hired me to solve.

The accounts stay yours throughout. I am added as a user, never as an owner, and you remove me when the work is done. Everything produced is yours. If that is not something you are comfortable with, buy the Health Check on its own and hand the report to whoever is.

What happens after the fix?

Nothing, if you want. Foundation Care exists because this quietly breaks again — a theme update drops a tag, a new product ships with no schema, a redirect gets overwritten by an import.

It is $300–$600 a month with a 3-month minimum, then cancel any month. Three months because one month of monitoring tells you nothing.

Not sure how much of this is broken?

That is what the Health Check is for. Send me your store URL and I will tell you whether it is worth $300 to find out — sometimes it obviously is not, and I would rather say so than take it.
