Shopify theme customization
Your Shopify theme, changed the way you need it.
New sections, reworked templates and Liquid changes to the theme you already have, so the store does what you need without starting over.
Themes get you most of the way and then stop: a product page that cannot show what your product needs, a section the theme editor does not offer, an app installed to do what a few lines of Liquid would do better. Each workaround adds weight and one more thing that can break.
Projects from $500, quoted from the list of changes before anything starts.
Every change is built in a copy of your theme and previewed before it is published, so the live store is never the test.

What gets changed
New sections
Sections built for your content — comparison tables, size guides, bundles, FAQs — that you add, move and edit in the theme editor like any other.
Templates for different products
Alternate product, collection and page templates, so a product that needs a different layout gets one without changing every other product page.
Liquid and metafields
Product details shown where they belong, read from metafields rather than hard-coded, so changing a detail means editing the product, not the code.
Fewer apps doing theme work
Where an app only adds a badge, a tab or a block to the page, the same result built into the theme instead — one less script on every page load.

Questions
Will my changes survive a theme update?
Changes to a theme do not carry over automatically when you move to a newer version of it, on any theme. Everything is documented — which files, which sections — so it can be moved across when you update, and that move can be quoted as a small job of its own.
Can I still edit the store myself?
Yes. New sections and templates work in the theme editor like the built-in ones, with settings for the text, images and options you would expect to change.
When should I not buy this?
If what you want is a different store rather than a changed one — a new layout everywhere, a new brand, a new structure — customising the old theme piece by piece will cost more than starting from a theme that fits. And if the store needs things no theme can do, look at headless Shopify instead.
How is a project quoted?
From a list of the changes, with screenshots or examples where they help. The quote names each change, so you know exactly what is and is not included before anything starts.
What does your theme not let you do?
Send me the page and the change you want. I will tell you whether it is a theme change, an app, or something else.
