About ten minutes, once, at the start.

What this assumes

  • Doing it yourself takes about 12 minutes per pin end to end — keyword research, design, writing the title and description, and posting.
  • Freelancer rates are modelled at $6 per pin, roughly the middle of what independent pin designers charge for design plus a written description.
  • Agency pricing is modelled at $1,800 a month minimum plus $9 per pin, which is where most small agencies land once management is included.
  • Caelana pricing uses the published plans and rounds up to the plan that covers your volume.
  • None of these include ad spend, because none of them are ads.

These are estimates for planning, not quotes. Freelancer and agency figures are market averages, not offers from anyone in particular.
